Calan Beef Noodle was founded by David, a proud native of Lanzhou, with the mission of bringing the most authentic Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles to Calgary. In 2017, the first Calan Beef Noodle restaurant opened at 2219 Centre St, Calgary, and quickly became a local favorite. By 2019, the success of the first location led to the opening of a second restaurant at 683 10 St SW, Calgary.
Our goal is to bring fast-casual, Halal-certified Calan Beef Noodles to more cities across Canada, sharing the rich culinary tradition of Lanzhou noodles with a wider audience.
